How do I find print books in the MSJ Library?

Begin your search using the MSJ Library's online catalog FOCUS to search for print and electronic books within our Library’s collection.

For print books, look for the LOCATION and STATUS fields in the catalog record to determine where the book is available as part of the MSJ Library collection. Equally, look for and note the item's CALL # in the catalog. The Library uses Dewey Decimal Classification System to arrange the physical items on its shelves, and the CALL # field in the online catalog denotes exactly where an item is located on the shelf. If you have difficulty locating an item, feel free to ask for help at the Circulation Desk or via our Research Help section of our website.
